Coach Mario started training in Martial Arts when he was 11. At 55 he has still the same enthusiasm about combat sports and Martial Arts as when he was just a young kid. You name it he has done it: Karate, boxing, wrestling, kickboxing, MMA, Krav Maga, etc.

that, maybe in good faith, where teaching unrealistic techniques or methods that where actually detrimental to their students. Not only that but most of their strength and conditioning teachings where based on 'Ipse Dixits' and just plain dogmas. There was more ignorance then, less scientific knowledge, so I kind of understand why that happened. What I do not understand is why that is still getting taught today in the name of a tradition that never evolved and progressed since."
