The practice of Yoga is a specific science but unfortunately it is often lost in a large crowded class. The birth of Repose Yoga (formerly known as Yoga In Mount Waverley) came from the idea of understanding that each individual is different, with unique constitutions, abilities and limitations. At Repose Yoga, we look after each student by having small sized classes. We integrate the ancient wisdom of Yoga in the most fun, accessible and modern way. The environment at Repose Yoga is non-competitive and community based with a lot of emphasis on laughter and support. Together we aim to create a community that is healthy and stress free.

Class Styles:

Hatha: Designed to stretch and realign the bodys neuromuscular system and calm the mind. Balances the ha (sun) and the tha (moon) energies of the body. Suitable for all. Injuries and limitations are taken into consideration. Beginner-friendly. Available on Zoom and In-Studio. Duration: 1 hour

Vinyasa: Like a dance, where one asana seamlessly flows into another. Suitable for intermediate students with a strong understanding of alignment. Available on Zoom and In-Studio. Duration: 1 hour

Restorative:
Gentle movements with plenty of passive stretching. Suitable for all difficulties from absolute beginners to advanced, or anyone recovering from injuries or surgery. Available on Zoom and In-Studio. Duration: 1 hour

Corporate: Corporate classes can be arranged for before, during or after work hours
