    Great place to train, solid instruction and chilled vibe
    Been training at Bayside BJJ for a while now and honestly couldn’t ask for a better club. The instruction is super detailed and technical — everything is broken down clearly, and you actually understand the “why” behind what you're doing, not just the steps. The culture is what really sets it apart though. No egos, super welcoming, and a good mix of people — hobbyists, competitors, parents, total beginners. Everyone’s there to get better and help each other out. You can roll hard if that’s what you want, but it’s always controlled and respectful. The kids' program is solid too — I’ve seen how well they engage the younger ones, and they actually teach them proper Jiu-Jitsu, not just games. Free trial for first-timers, flexible timetable, and no pushy sales stuff which is rare these days. Whether you’re just getting into BJJ or have been training for years, it’s definitely worth checking out.
