Let's face it, we all pretty much know what we 'should' be doing to be healthier. But if it was as easy as that we'd all be doing it, right?! Life gets in the way doesnt it?
Life is so busy for us today and many of us are feeling the stress of 'lack' - lack of staff, lack of resources, lack of time, energy and for many in the caring professions, lack of compassion or 'compassion fatigue.' As a registered nurse I have experienced this first-hand, I get it. I've come to learn that we must first practice self-compassion if we are to have it for others around us. It's a bit like the safety directions when we board a plane... to put our own oxygen mask on first before tending to others around us.
My role as a coach is to help you identify what's important to you and how your current lifestyle is impacting that. What would you like to do differently and what gets in the way of making that happen? Perhaps you need accountability, more time, or to reframe failure to see the lesson in it and build confidence to change. Even lessons become little wins to celebrate.
I am passionate about empowering others to do wellness their way, with compassion, acceptance and understanding. You do the work and own your successes, while I walk beside you, asking curious questions, gently challenging the negative thoughts and celebrating every little success along the way. Change is possible!
