Being a Certified Cricket Coach, I have had a wide variety of teaching experience through individuals starting from the age of 4 all the way to 40-year-old seniors in different aspects of the game. I have coached Rep players, State players and Club players.

I am the Vice- President of Glenwood Redbacks Cricket Club and I have been teaching the U15's Rep Parramatta side for over 2 years now understanding and managing team dynamics. The level of a player I am coaching is redundant as long as one has the passion to learn. SWCCs focus is to give kids the facilities and appropriate training to reach their goals. Many kids have these goals and we want to give everyone a chance to achieve their goals with the training and guidance.

Sessions are designed to cater for the different needs of our students. Each session aims to achieve a unique goal of the student to enhance their skills and technique. We start sessions with warm ups and stretches to reduce the risk of injury. The type of warm up depends on whether it is a group or individual session. As this happens, we outline an aim for the session in order to set goals for our learning allowing us to do drills and skill activities for that aim. We eventually want to create positive habits and muscle memory through repetition.

I have competed at professional levels and am continuing to do so by playing for Sydney West.
I have also been on Cricket Tours to Dubai and India, representing Sydney in doing so. I am a batting allrounder and I always aim to improve in every aspect of the game. Me currently playing also allows me to further understand kids' mindset's allowing me to find more effective ways of teaching them and improving.

I've always believed that learning should be enjoyable and if we make our process fun, we can maintain motivation and achieve anything!
